This is really good the arrangement is nice the sound design is good I love that you maintained overhead. I can't hear the kick when the bass so side chain those. But it is completely in the right direction Love it. I like that you created a mood and and made it dark.

I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say the kick is inaudible. It's very loud and sidechained quite a bit already. Check your headphones or listening device!

So the trick to synth wave is to play a Maj7 chord progression and contrast it with a minor scale contained in the major progression to make make it moody.

If I knew what that meant I would definitely try it out. But I have no idea waht a maj7 chord progression is. I do know what a minor scale is though. PM me if you want to explain.

Start the master with the volume all the way down and bring up as soon as the song starts. I would low pass filter the Hi hats and turn them down a little.
